Full Job Description
Overview

Senior Project Managers lead the delivery of complex projects, integrated campaigns, and multi-workstream initiatives across capabilities, channels, partners, and stakeholders.

Senior Project Managers bring structure without slowing momentum. They are proactive problem solvers who thrive in complexity, challenge assumptions, and find smart ways forward when scope, timing, budget, resources, or priorities compete. They are trusted to think critically, make sound recommendations, and help teams move through ambiguity with clarity and confidence.

This role partners closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to protect quality, strengthen project health, and create the conditions for teams to do their best work. In an environment where roles, skills, tools, and ways of working continue to evolve, Senior Project Managers help teams successfully adopt new approaches while maintaining delivery quality, clarity, and accountability. Senior Project Managers operate with a high degree of autonomy and may coach, mentor, or career-manage less experienced Project Management team members.

Responsibilities

Strategy
  • Design delivery approaches that balance client ambition, team capacity, and business outcomes.
  • Anticipate risks, dependencies, and downstream impacts across interconnected workstreams before they affect delivery outcomes.
  • Challenge assumptions, pressure-test plans, and uncover smarter paths through complex delivery challenges.
  • Lead trade-off decisions when scope, timing, budget, resources, or priorities compete.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, and modernize how work gets done, including the use of AI, automation, workflow tools, and new delivery approaches.

Delivery
  • Lead complex projects from planning through final delivery across multiple workstreams, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Own scope, timing, budgets, forecasts, and resources across complex initiatives, identifying risks, evaluating options, and guiding teams toward the best path forward.
  • Treat budgets as a strategic management tool, using financial insight to solve problems, protect value, and guide decisions.
  • Surface financial risks, efficiencies, and opportunities early, helping teams and clients make informed decisions that protect delivery and business outcomes.
  • Manage change with clarity, helping stakeholders understand implications, options, and recommended paths forward.
  • Drive the decisions, actions, and accountability needed to deliver strong work.

Knowledge
  • Apply strong project management and operational expertise to guide teams through complexity with confidence.
  • Build clear scopes, estimates, forecasts, and project plans that make smart delivery decisions easier.
  • Use data, tools, and reporting to create visibility, sharpen decisions, and keep work moving.
  • Apply broad understanding of clients, business objectives, delivery models, and agency operations to guide stronger decisions and outcomes.
  • Evaluate and recommend practical uses of tools, technology, automation, and AI that improve visibility, efficiency, and delivery outcomes.

Leadership
  • Build trust with clients, teams, and stakeholders through clarity, judgment, and follow-through.
  • Create alignment by distilling complex situations into clear priorities, decisions, risks, and next steps.
  • Lead difficult conversations with confidence, context, and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Lead teams through difficult decisions by bringing options, recommendations, and a clear path forward.
  • Help teams adapt to evolving roles, skills, tools, and ways of working by bringing a continuous improvement mindset and a practical approach to change.
  • Stay steady under pressure and help teams move forward with confidence.
