Senior Project Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee all architectural aspects of project development, from design through construction documents and specifications. This role manages multiple project teams simultaneously (typically 3-4+ projects), establishes project objectives, and ensures deliverables are completed on schedule and budget. You will lead client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Project & Team Leadership

  • Establish project objectives and specify strategies to achieve deliverables outlined in scope
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate team members and consultants from inception through completion
  • Manage project teams, assign and mentor staff, and make authoritative project decisions
  • Monitor time and budget using Deltek, advising Leadership as required


Client Relations & Business Development

  • Establish and facilitate client and internal meetings; manage client relationships
  • Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance
  • Contribute to proposals, RFPs, charrettes, design competitions, and business development
  • Maintain awareness of project schedules, fees, budgets, and pricing strategy


Technical & Documentation

  • Review and prepare construction documents for accuracy across all disciplines
  • Write and edit architectural specifications; coordinate legal parameters with owners
  • Apply working knowledge of MEP systems and codes (IBC, CBC, ADA, Title 24, BOMA)
  • Manage construction administration including RFIs, RFPs, change orders, and submittals


Qualifications

Required

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
  • Licensed Architect in California

  • NCARB Certified
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and large teams
