Senior Project Manager leads complex aerospace programs from contract award through delivery. This role owns full project execution, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful delivery of high-reliability aerospace products. This position is onsite in
Goleta, CA.Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end execution of aerospace development and production programs
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Serve as the primary customer interface for program execution
- Identify, manage, and mitigate technical, schedule, and cost risks
- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
- Manage contract requirements, scope changes, and program reviews
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, quality systems, and customer requirements
- Mentor junior project managers and project coordinators
- Risk management
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master's preferred)
- 7+ years of project/program management experience in aerospace or defense
- Proven experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary engineering programs
- Strong knowledge of aerospace development lifecycles and regulated environments
- Excellent customer-facing, leadership, and decision-making skills
- PMP or equivalent certification preferred
