Job Description:

The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) leads the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing initiatives for the Mercedes-Benz Vans business, ensuring high-quality deliverables from project initiation through final deployment. As the central point of coordination, the Sr. PM oversees timelines, resources, budgets, and cross-functional collaboration while ensuring alignment with client objectives and agency standards.

This role partners closely with Account, Strategy, Creative, Production, Media, and external vendor teams to deliver integrated campaigns across digital, social, CRM, experiential, video, print, retail, and other marketing channels. The Sr. PM is responsible for identifying risks, managing dependencies, driving operational excellence, and maintaining clear communication across internal and client stakeholders. In addition, this role mentors junior project managers, contributes to process improvements, and helps strengthen project management best practices across the agency.

Responsibilities

Project Management
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Manage project workflows, timelines, and quality control across assigned workstreams.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocations, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Account, Strategy, Creative, Production, Media, Analytics, and external vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration, proactively identifying and resolving risks, bottlenecks, and scheduling conflicts.
  • Manage complex digital initiatives, including websites, CRM/email, paid and organic social, display advertising, video, content development, and campaign asset production.
  • Oversee production schedules for print, video, experiential, retail, and integrated campaign deliverables.
  • Facilitate project status meetings, communicate priorities, and ensure stakeholders remain informed of timelines, risks, and deliverables.
  • Support planning and execution of product launches, seasonal campaigns, brand initiatives, and ongoing marketing programs.
  • Ensure agency processes, documentation, and project standards are consistently followed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, efficiencies, and project management processes across the account.
  • Partner with Finance and Account teams to monitor project scopes, estimates, change requests, and budgets.

Leadership & Team Management
  • Mentor, coach, and support junior Project Managers through day-to-day guidance and professional development.
  • Review project plans and timelines developed by junior team members to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Balance workloads across the project management team to maximize efficiency and resource utilization.
  • Review and approve direct reports' timesheets.
  • Partner with the Director of Project Management on staffing, resource planning, and departmental initiatives.
  • Assist with interviewing, onboarding, and training new project management team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented environment with internal teams and clients.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance agency operations and project delivery.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management experience within an advertising, marketing, creative, or integrated agency environment.
  • 2+ years of people management or supervisory experience.
  • Demonstrated experience managing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
  • Experience supporting automotive, luxury, retail, or consumer brands is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of integrated campaign development, creative production, digital marketing, and content workflows.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external production partners.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Workfront, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, manage ambiguity, and proactively solve challenges while maintaining attention to detail.

120,000-130,000

Omnicom's policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom's corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
