Senior Project Manager
Location: NYCSalary: $160,000-$185,000Overview:The Senior Project Manager will oversee capital and major maintenance projects, managing all phases of project delivery from planning and design through construction and closeout. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Manage multiple capital improvement and facility projects from initiation through closeout.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and implementation strategies.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Operations, consultants, and contractors throughout project delivery.
- Monitor project risks, schedules, budgets, and performance, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead stakeholder engagement, site investigations, and project meetings.
- Prepare executive reports, presentations, and funding authorization materials.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, contract requirements, and project controls.
- Mentor junior staff and support cross-functional team collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 12 years of experience managing large-scale capital, infrastructure, construction, or facility improvement projects.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary design and construction teams.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience managing complex commercial, mixed-use, transportation, or public infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and construction management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- PE, RA, and/or PMP certification preferred.
