JOB TITLE: Senior Project Manager
JOB SUMMARY: You'll be joining a multidisciplinary MarTech organization spanning four connected work streams, Retail Media (RMN), CRM & Campaigns, Personalization & Web, and a shared MarTech Foundation team, alongside product managers, solution architects, software and data engineers, and QA who build the systems that activate marketing across every customer touchpoint. As Senior Project Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery for our Personalization and Web initiatives, the personalization capability layer, onsite and in-app experiences, and experimentation, while coordinating plans, dependencies, and delivery across all MarTech work streams. You'll bring the program discipline that turns a complex, multi-team roadmap into predictable, on-time outcomes, and you'll establish the clear intake and prioritization that today's web and personalization work is missing. MarTech is executing against a current- and future-state assessment spanning roughly 35 platforms and 15+ activation channels. You'll translate that roadmap into actionable delivery plans, manage cross-team and external dependencies (including shared data, content, and platform services owned outside MarTech), and keep leadership informed with clear status and decision-ready reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end delivery of MarTech Personalization and Web initiatives, scope, integrated plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication from intake through launch.
• Build and maintain integrated roadmaps and delivery plans across the MarTech work streams (RMN, CRM & Campaigns, Personalization & Web, and Foundation), sequencing work and managing cross-team dependencies.
• Translate the current- and future-state assessments and prioritized pain points into milestone-based delivery plans with clear owners, timelines, and success criteria.
• Establish and run a clear intake and prioritization process for web and personalization requests, balancing demand against team capacity.
• Drive cross-functional coordination across product, engineering, data/EDP, architecture, QA, and external partner teams that own shared platform, content, and data services.
• Run Agile delivery cadences within a POD-based model, sprint and PI planning, backlog refinement, standups, and reviews, partnering with engineering managers.
• Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID); remove blockers and escalate early with recommended options.
• Coordinate build-vs-buy and vendor/SOW workstreams, and track staffing (FTE and contractor), budget, and resourcing against plan.
• Provide leadership-ready status, roadmap, and metrics reporting, and prepare decision memos that drive cross-team and leadership alignment.
• Standardize project-management practices, templates, and governance across MarTech to improve predictability and transparency.
Required Qualifications:
• PMP certification (Project Management Institute) - required.
• 7+ years of project or program management experience delivering technical, software, or marketing-technology programs.
• Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, and data teams on concurrent, interdependent initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery as well as hybrid and waterfall approaches, and with delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project).
• Proven track record of dependency, risk, and stakeholder management on complex, multi-team programs.
• Strong executive communication and status reporting, with the ability to make plans and trade-offs clear to both technical and business audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in a MarTech, digital marketing, personalization, CRM, or retail-media ecosystem.
• Familiarity with platforms in our stack, e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), Databricks, Hightouch, Kafka, Contentstack / CMS & DAM, LiveRamp / UID2.
• Experience delivering personalization, next-best-offer, or experimentation (A/B testing) programs.
• Experience coordinating onsite/web delivery, headless CMS, multi-site, and design-system or component-library efforts.
• Additional certifications such as PMI-ACP, CSM / PSM, or SAFe.
• Experience managing build-vs-buy evaluations and vendor-delivered workstreams.
• Retail or convenience-retail industry experience.
