SeniorProject Manager to join our Indianapolis team. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in capital projects, engineering, construction, or life sciences environments who are looking to lead complex, multi-disciplinary capital projects involving process instrumentation, and engineered systems.

We welcome candidates from engineering, construction, manufacturing, automation, EPC, utilities, pharmaceutical, and industrial project management backgrounds.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Project Leadership- Lead full capital project lifecycle delivery from planning through completion
- Manage scope, budget, schedule, and quality objectives
- Develop project plans, execution strategies, and resource allocation models
- Apply project management principles common in capital projects, engineering, or construction environments, including scheduling, procurement coordination, and cross-functional execution
Technical Oversight- Define and validate technical scope and equipment specifications
- Review engineering documentation for accuracy, completeness, and constructability
- Oversee instrumentation systems, including:
- Valves, transmitters, and analyzers
- Control systems and manufacturing components
Procurement & Vendor Management- Lead procurement activities including RFQs, bid evaluations, vendor selection, contract negotiations, purchase orders, equipment tracking, and supplier performance management.
- Partner with suppliers to ensure specifications, lead times, and quality standards
- Track equipment from fabrication through delivery and installation
Stakeholder & Client Engagement- Serve as the primary client-facing project manager
- Coordinate across engineering, procurement, and vendor teams
- Lead project meetings, reporting, and performance tracking
Risk, Compliance & Improvement- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost impacts
- Ensure compliance with GxP, regulatory, and quality standards
- Drive improvements in project delivery and procurement processes
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical, scientific, or business discipline preferred.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required
- 15+ years experience in project management involving capital projects
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering documentation
- Proven experience with:
- Vendor coordination and procurement processes
- Complex, multi-stakeholder project environments
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries preferred
