Senior Project Manager - Baggage Handling Systems will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of
Toronto.Your role- Provides specialist project management expertise.
- Works collaboratively alongside other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to support the Program Lead.
- Works with the Program Lead to manage contractor performance and escalate necessary decisions.
- Interfaces with various internal and external stakeholder groups to align required consultations and approvals.
- Works with the contractor to coordinate required permits, approvals, consents, and site logistics.
- Oversees the delivery of works in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk requirements.
- Coordinates the effective application of change control procedures and escalates decisions as required.
- Works collaboratively with the wider program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals, including design, health and safety, quality, environmental, and security requirements.
- Works collaboratively with the wider team to coordinate procurement activities and contract management activities.
- Coaches, mentors, and supports the career development of staff.
About you- Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering) is considered an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project/program management.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent infrastructure programs related to baggage handling or similar systems.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs within an operating environment.
- Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision-making.
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and/or applicable technical areas to deliver complex projects.
- Strong technical capability across all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably on large programs/projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings/workshops with groups of stakeholders.

Additional informationExpected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $140,000 - $190,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
