Senior Project Manager

About the Role
Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives, while managing contracts, resources, budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Projects may include both capital and closure initiatives, requiring strong leadership, technical understanding, and a collaborative approach to project execution.

Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
  • Lead the execution of projects in accordance with approved scope, budget, and schedule requirements
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor, manage, and report on key project performance indicators to support business objectives
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external project stakeholders
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders as required
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, develop estimates, and achieve deliverables
  • Proactively identify and resolve project execution and performance issues
  • Manage project risks, issues, and change processes to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Support the sourcing, selection, and management of vendors, contractors, and consultants
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery methods and practices
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Facilitate project reviews, reporting, and governance activities
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
  • 8+ years of project management experience within industrial, mining, energy, infrastructure, or heavy industrial environments
  • Demonstrated experience delivering capital projects from concept through commissioning and closeout
  • Strong understanding of project controls, budgeting, scheduling, contract management, and risk management
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • PMP designation or equivalent project management certification is considered a strong asset
  • Proficiency with project management and reporting tools
