Senior Project Engineer for our
Integrated Product Team to drive the tactical execution of large, business-critical New Product Introduction (NPI) programs across Chromalloy. This role partners with Program Managers, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Finance teams to coordinate cross-functional activities from product design through manufacturing readiness and low-rate initial production, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.

What You'll Be Doing- Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, finance, and quality to execute integrated NPI program plans for gas turbine hardware manufacturing and repair projects.
- Partner with Program Managers and Engineering teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution plans.
- Coordinate daily project activities and drive alignment across stakeholders to meet program milestones and schedules.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, maintain action-item trackers, and ensure timely completion of key deliverables.
- Identify resource constraints and collaborate with stakeholders to develop practical solutions.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics, providing clear status updates to leadership.
- Support risk assessments and ensure mitigation plans are defined, tracked, and executed.
- Deliver data-driven progress reports and recommendations to PMO and Engineering leadership teams.
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree (engineering or manufacturing preferred) and minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
- Proficient in project management techniques and software tools.
- Operations experience and knowledge of highly regulated manufacturing such as aerospace or medical device manufacturing elements (i.e. process instructions, tooling development, CapEx capacity analysis).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Direct experience in the fields of aerospace or turbine engines preferred.
This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
