Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering or relevant field is a plus
• Licensed PE/EIT/certifications preferred
• Experience in Data Center Engineering with Automation and Controls
• Strong background in integrating PLC/ALC with mission-critical facilities
• Minimum 5 years with BMS/BCM/BAS systems
• Familiarity with products from major companies like Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Honeywell
• Proficient in PLC/ALC programming and critical HVAC equipment design

Responsibilities

• Lead automation design teams for complex projects and coordinate efforts across disciplines
• Mentor mechanical engineers and provide training in controls design
• Design and implement front-end HVAC control platforms
• Develop and enhance configuration, programming, networking, and diagnostic standards
• Create and modify programming logic to align with operational sequences
• Oversee control, monitoring, and systems integration for HVAC and mechanical systems
• Maintain and update applications for existing control systems autonomously
• Drive continuous improvement in controls design for chilled water and condenser water plants
