Full Job Description
Our Infrastructure Advisory team is looking for a Senior Project Consultant to join our Toronto team.

What You Get to Learn and Do
  • Work and assist on between 2-4 projects with regular supervision.
  • Prepare pre-bid and pre-financial close technical advisory reports.
  • Completion of Realistic Outside Costs Analysis and Reasonable Downside Analysis.
  • Attend and partake in multidisciplinary Project kick-off meetings for pre bid services.
  • Attend and partake in lenders and rating agency calls.
  • Complete site inspections and reports including photographs in support of construction period services.
  • Work closely with senior team members to determine project changes.
  • Prepare the technical components and fees for proposals.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior level team members as designated, including the introduction to site visits.
  • Networks occasionally promoting the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and enhancing client relationships.


What You'll Bring
  • Having 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
  • University Degree or equivalent to any of the following: Construction Engineering or Quantity Surveying
  • Working towards or obtained a relevant professional qualification: PQS, MRICS, P. Eng, CPA, CFA, LEED AP
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative.
  • Responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests.
  • Self-motivated with good organizational, communication and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and ability to work to own initiatives.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
  • Hold a valid drivers license.
  • Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit.

The typical hiring range for this Toronto role is $80K-$120K CAD per year. This represents base salary only, not total compensation, and BTY Group may offer more or less depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications. Compensation takes into account education, training, experience, location, market factors, and internal alignment. In line with Ontario Pay Transparency rules, a candidate's past salary will not be considered in determining pay.
