Full Job Description

We're seeking a strategic and operational program manager for the Netflix GenAI team. This role is twofold: first, help prioritize the GenAI team's own work - identifying opportunities and helping technical team members align on what to build next; and second, drive GenAI adoption across the broader Netflix Games organization. We need a Sr Program Manager who understands the day-to-day challenges, workflows, and business needs of both the GenAI team and the teams it serves, and who can bring together a coherent program with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Project Prioritization & Management

  • Support product engineering workstreams through detailed milestone planning, running agile development processes, clarifying priorities, tracking sprints and deliverables.

  • Work with technologies across the game organization stack, from game engines, to services, to Agentic systems (Claude Code, Cowork, OpenClaw, custom agents and bots)

  • Drive cross-functional program coordination: partner with engineering, platform, and studio teams to align on prioritization, sequencing, and dependencies, and surface risks before they block delivery.

Drive adoption of GenAI tools and intelligent automation

  • Identify key opportunities where AI can add value to teams, defining the specific customizations, learning materials, program plan to drive adoption.

  • Work across diverse teams in game studios and platforms, to inform and advise on existing initiatives, as well as how new tools will fit within the broader ecosystem.

  • Create and deliver regular training and communications materials to support tool adoption.

  • Produce custom AI skills and tools that can support specific workflows and tasks across functions.

  • Turn complexity into clarity: write the status updates, decision docs, and alignment artifacts that keep teams and leaders on the same page.

Data Driven Decision Making

  • Dive into team and product engagement data - usage metrics, adoption funnels, survey results - to run analyses, surface trends, and formulate recommendations.

  • Define the KPIs and success metrics for GenAI program, design and run lightweight experiments (A/B tests, cohort comparisons) to evaluate program success.

Define new opportunities for GenAI in game development process

  • Through stakeholder interviews, technical deep-dive workshops, engaging across specialists, identify tangible opportunities for GenAI to accelerate game development, supporting teams in their work.

  • Derive insights from user research and quantitative data to create product roadmaps, which identify the highest return investments, distinguish hype from value.

  • Maintain awareness of the fast-moving GenAI landscape - new models, capabilities, and industry use cases - and work across the company to translate relevant developments into concrete solutions for the business.

  • Engage and manage external vendors, shaping project proposals and overseeing project deliverables.

  • Collaborate with our engineering and platform teams to define and plan for robust solutions and scale core capabilities: model inference, data pipelines, responsible AI compliance, safety guardrails, and graceful degradation at scale.

Qualifications
  • 12+ years of experience in program management and/or product management, focused on technology portfolios.

  • 5+ years of experience in the games industry.

  • Product management experience, identifying user needs, defining product strategy & roadmaps, running development workstreams.

  • Experience in games industry partner engagements or business development, defining projects, SOWs, deliverables, and overseeing project deliveries.

  • Experience managing technical vendor engagements - defining scope of work, staffing plans, and deliverables, and tracking vendor performance against SOW terms.2

  • Experience & deep understanding of games business operations & data needs, defining content for decision making, greenlight, gate review processes.

  • Strong hands-on experience working with AI technologies such as Claude Cowork, ChatGPT, M365 Copilot. Ability to develop custom skills, tutorials, communication materials including written, interactive, video.

  • Proven ability to design and implement tool adoption frameworks, methodologies, and toolkits from the ground up 6 not just apply pre-built approaches.

  • Comfort translating ambiguous technical goals into structured project plans with clear milestones, owners, and dependencies.

  • Experience convening & facilitating employee communities, to drive new initiatives and employee engagement.

  • Experience in executive and employee presentations, storytelling and communications 6 able to distill complex changes into clear, compelling narratives.

  • Expertise in developing and executing multi-channel communication plans and stakeholder engagement strategies for global, cross-functional audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage change at a portfolio level 6 balancing multiple concurrent programs and proactively identifying change saturation risks.

  • Exceptional facilitation skills; experience designing and leading workshops, readiness assessments, and cross-functional alignment sessions.

Preferred
  • Experience with GenAI tools and intelligent automation platforms (e.g., Google Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT, Zapier) and a track record of driving adoption of these technologies in a business context.

  • A track record building alignment and driving decisions across a broad stakeholder map, internal and external, without relying on formal authority.

  • Experience with experimentation or analytics tooling (e.g., dbt, Looker, Tableau, Kragle) and a track record of using data to shape product or program decisions.
