Standard Job DescriptionYou will be the Subcontract Program Management Sr Mgr for the Supply Chain Development team. Our team is responsible for leading the end-to-end development of the future supply base, obsolescence redesigns, and second-source qualification initiatives.
What You Will Be DoingAs the Subcontract Program Management Sr Mgr you will be responsible for shaping the future industrial base and guiding cross-functional teams from concept through production readiness.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead sourcing and development for critical technologies.
- Drive supplier selection and qualification strategies to ensure production readiness.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to embed affordability and scalability into designs.
- Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and mitigate obsolescence risks.
- Coach and develop a high-performing team of leaders and contributors.
MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications• Development program experience in aerospace/defense
• Strong team leadership track record
• Proven ability to influence cross functional teams
• Strong negotiation experience
• Experience with design-to-cost, lean manufacturing, or design-for-manufacturability initiatives
• Background in supplier development and transition to production activities
• Experience managing second-source qualification or obsolescence programs
• Exposure to complex, multi-tier global supply chains
Desired Skills- Demonstrated history of talent development
- Army or MDA program experience
- Missile/Interceptor experience
- Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin acquisition procedures
- Working relationships and experience managing current MFC critical commodity suppliers
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $158700.00 - $294700.00
