Senior Program Manager, Dealer and Channel Operations IT PMO

Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the Global Technical Center in Warren (MI) or Austin Innovation Center in Austin (TX) three times per week, at minimum. This position can be located at either of these 2 locations.

The Role

Our Dealer and Channel Operations Organization (IT PMO) is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead complex, cross-functional programs that directly impact vehicle quality and launch readiness. This position requires a strong background in software delivery, enterprise-scale execution, and the ability to bring clarity and alignment across engineering, product, design, and quality teams. You'll operate at the center of GM's transformation, working closely with executive stakeholders to drive accountability, delivery excellence, and innovation.

This is a high-impact opportunity with significant visibility and influence, ideal for someone who thrives in fast paced, ambiguous environments. You'll help shape the future of mobility by improving program execution and delivery processes across diverse teams. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
  • 5+ years of software project/program management experience.

  • Strong command of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.

  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with GM's Dealer and Channel Operations systems.
