Job Description

Clarity seeks intelligent, dedicated, and passionate top-notch Program Manager to join our high-performing team. We provide a work atmosphere that fosters professional and individual growth while working toward common goals. As a Project Manager you will lead multi-functional teams providing solutions to challenging problems in the cyber operations mission domain across a broad set of Federal Government customers.

*This position will allowhybrid work. Candidates must be within commuting distance of Columbia MD or Herndon VA. Candidates should expect to be onsite for customer meetings once per week in Columbia MD and in person for work 1-2 additional times per week.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Project Manager for midsize team developing a Kubernetes base solution for challenging problems in cyberspace
  • Build cohesion, continuity, and resiliency in order to ensure a healthy team
  • Build strong and trusting relationships with customers and stakeholders
  • Ensure stakeholder feedback, concerns, and issues are regularly captured and addressed
  • Manage execution to achieve project cost, technical, and schedule commitments
  • Ensure objectives and scope are commonly understood and well documented
  • Ensure requirements are clear, decomposed, and verifiable
  • Keep schedules accurate and with well-defined deliverables
  • Work aggressively to ensure projects have required resources to meet all commitments and team needs, e.g. staffing, supplies, licenses, hardware, etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project Management:
    • Lead and manage development projects, and on-site system deployments from inception through completion.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  2. Client Engagement:
    • Act as a senior point of contact for clients regarding development of software.
    • Act as a senior point of contact for clients regarding on-site system deployments.
    • Understand client requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
    • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality solutions and support.
  3. Technical Expertise:
    • Experience leading teams through the software development life cycle and delivering capabilities to operations
    • Experience deploying software baselines into a production environment
    • Background in cloud infrastructure, especially as it relates to data ingestion and transport.
    • Track and enable Agile Software Development practices.
    • Previous work as a scrum master, DevOps or Software Engineer is a plus.

Qualifications:
  • Mission First Mindset
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in Kubernetes, but experience in cloud operations, IT infrastructure, or software development supporting production systems is also acceptable.
  • Previous experience working with with Kubernetes applications and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to acquire SCI
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience managing solution development efforts in Kubernetes, cloud deployments, software/application development, and/or Cyber Operations domain with Federal Government customers.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of software development, specifically Agile methodologies
  • Experience maintaining project backlogs and artifacts in Atlassian suite of applications
  • Attitude of team success before self
  • A drive for excellence and quality

Preferred Skills:
  • PMP and/or similar work experience.
  • Background, experience or certifications in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
