Responsibilities
About the Team The Safety Product (or Platform Responsibility)team is at the forefront of building and optimizing content safety systems. With a focus on optimising and advancing content safety, we leverage advanced large language models to enhance review efficiency, risk control, and user trust. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, we deliver scalable solutions that keep pace with rapid global growth. - Drive complex risk governance projects independently, define the safety operations roadmap, set success metrics (e.g., risk recall, precision, false positive rate), and partner across the organization to develop and execute action plans; - Focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing risk governance strategies specifically for the recommendation phase (e.g., feed distribution). Balance safety interventions with creator experience to minimize false positives and unwarranted visibility restrictions; - Leverage data analysis methodologies to monitor operational health, identify emerging risks in the recommendation ecosystem, and conduct deep dives into creator appeal cases (false positives) to iterate on distribution rules and policies - Work closely with Recommendation Algorithm, Product and Policy to operationalize new safety initiatives, manage escalations, and protect authentic creators from over-enforcement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above. - Familiarity with Trust & Safety operations, content governance, or recommendation ecosystem risk management. Experience in managing operational metrics and risk control strategies is highly preferred. - Strong empathy for creators. Experience in handling false positive analysis, creator appeals, or ecosystem health operations. - Ability to design and improve operational processes based on evidence; proven track record of delivering process optimizations that improve efficiency, quality, and user/creator experience. - Good project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills; able to influence and unite cross-functional teams to resolve complex operational issues. Preferred Qualifications - Strong and proven data analysis skills for process optimization and workflow design (e.g., SQL, Excel, data visualization). - A solid understanding of how recommendation algorithms distribute content, and the ability to conduct trade-off analysis (e.g., safety risk vs. creator impact/content liquidity).
