Full Job Description
About The Role

At G2, our Senior Product Marketing Manager, AI Solutions owns go-to-market strategy and hands-on growth execution for G2 AI Solutions - G2's full AI product portfolio, spanning G2.ai (our AI playground and beta testing ground for Blueprints, Agent Evals, and what's next) all the way through their migration into G2.com. You'll define who these products are for, build the story that makes buyers care, and personally drive the growth tactics that take an early AI product from zero traction to revenue - owning that GTM motion end-to-end, from first beta signal in G2.ai to full integration on G2.com. You will report to the Senior Director, Product Marketing, with a dotted line into the product organization, and be a key member of the PMM team.

This role owns G2 AI Solutions - G2's newest, most ambiguous, and fastest-moving product bets - end to end, covering both sides of the merger from G2.ai (our AI playground) into G2.com, not just work happening in the AI playground. As capabilities like Agent Evals get built directly into G2.com, this person owns how the audience, story, and growth motion travel with them.

You'll be a dedicated PMM partner for G2 AI Solutions, embedded in product roadmap and planning from the earliest stages, while also working directly with the builders behind individual solutions underneath it.

This is a blend of strategist and operator: you form a sharp point of view on audience and positioning, and you're also comfortable rolling up your sleeves to run the campaigns, community plays, and early pipeline motions that get a new product to its first dollar of revenue.

In This Role, You Will:

GTM Vision & Market Definition (25%)
  • Define who each AI product is for and why, and build positioning and messaging that's differentiated and defensible - testing assumptions fast through lightweight experiments, customer conversations, and early pilots.
  • Own GTM strategy for G2 AI Solutions end-to-end - from G2.ai (Blueprints, Agent Evals, and what's next) through their migration into G2.com - with a buyer-first lens; seller-facing use cases are secondary and in service of seeding buyer adoption.
  • Own the plan for how each product's audience, messaging, and channel strategy evolves as it migrates from G2.ai into G2.com - including products like Agent Evals that are launching directly into G2.com.

Growth Execution & Zero-to-Revenue (20%)
  • Personally own and run the growth tactics that take AI Solutions products from early access to revenue-generating - campaigns, community seeding, lifecycle nurture, and early pipeline generation - not just briefing others on what to build.
  • Own pipeline and revenue visibility for the AI Solutions portfolio in its early stages, and run lightweight acquisition and activation experiments (organic, community-led, referral) to find what moves users from aware to paying.
  • Partner with Sales and RevOps to define what "revenue-ready" looks like for an early-stage AI product, and drive the handoff from PMM-led growth to a scaled GTM motion.

Early User Research & Market Validation (15%)
  • Proactively identify and engage prospective buyers before a product is ready, running lightweight discovery - user interviews, concept tests, early-access pilots.
  • Stay close to the competitive landscape and category trends; feed market perspective back to Product as the informed voice of the buyer.
  • Build and maintain a network of early users and prospective customers who can give honest, ongoing input as AI Solutions products evolve; synthesize findings into clear takeaways on who's likely to buy and what's resonating.

Sales Enablement & Go-to-Market Readiness (15%)
  • Partner with Sales Enablement to understand what's landing in the field and close gaps quickly with the right narrative, proof points, and collateral.
  • Use G2's existing seller and customer base to seed early adoption of AI Solutions products, rather than building net-new external communities from scratch.
  • Brief the PMM team on what enablement materials need to exist across Buyer, Seller, and Reviewer audiences, and serve as a strategic driver behind early pilot and launch motions.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Orchestration (15%)
  • Serve as Products' dedicated PMM partner for AI Solutions - embedded in product org's roadmap and planning from the earliest stages - while also partnering directly with the builders of individual solutions underneath it.
  • Translate early and often-unformed product direction into a GTM plan the PMM team can execute against; build frameworks and messaging together with PMM peers, then partner with Demand Gen, Content, and Comms to execute.
  • Communicate GTM direction, experiment results, and recommendations clearly to the Senior Director, PMM leadership, and Product; flag when something upstream is broken and bring a proposed solution.

Alignment & Market Intelligence (10%)
  • Give the team clarity on what you're working toward and why; operate as a reliable, easy-to-trust partner across Marketing and Product.
  • Maintain a current view of the competitive landscape and category trends specific to AI-powered GTM and software discovery, and use it to keep AI Solutions positioning sharp and relevant.
  • Build and maintain a high hiring bar for the PMM function - attracting marketers with intellectual rigor, genuine product fluency, and GTM depth.

Minimum Qualifications:

We realize applying for jobs can feel daunting at times. Even if you don't check all the boxes in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway.
  • 7+ years of product marketing, growth marketing, or GTM strategy experience in B2B SaaS, including at least one experience getting a product off the ground with little to no playbook.
  • Proven ability to take a product from zero to revenue - hands-on experience running growth or demand campaigns, building pipeline, and driving early revenue, not just strategy and orchestration.
  • Experience in an early-stage or new-product environment (startup, internal venture, or skunkworks team) where you had to define the market as much as the message.
  • Comfortable with data and experimentation: you understand testing frameworks, know how to build and validate a hypothesis, and use data to build a compelling story.
  • A natural relationship builder who gets things done through people - across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership. History of relationships strong enough that people at past companies would say you made their work better.
  • Clear, confident communicator - you write sharp positioning, give a crisp verbal brief, and make meetings productive.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity - you don't need a fully-formed brief to get started, you help create it.
  • Deep familiarity with or genuine curiosity about AI and how it's reshaping software buying behavior.
  • Experience with PLG or self-serve motions where understanding the buyer deeply was essential to acquisition.
  • Comfortable owning a broad, evolving portfolio (multiple AI products at different maturity stages) rather than a single, narrowly-defined product.

Travel: Willingness to travel for company events, product offsites, and customer-facing meetings as needed.
