Full Job Description
About the Team
The Pipedream team enables AI agents to connect to the software and services people use every day -- including Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, GitHub, Jira, and thousands more. The platform is used by software developers at leading technology companies like Workday, Perplexity, Meta, and Relevance AI who are building AI agents and workflow products.

Pipedream offers something rare -- the opportunity to work in a startup environment while delivering enterprise-scale impact. Acquired by Workday in December 2025, this team combines the energy and agility of a startup with the reach and resources of an enterprise platform. If you enjoy moving fast, wearing multiple hats, and seeing your work directly shape a product's direction, this is a team where you can do exactly that.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager on the Pipedream team, you will drive the evolution of the platform with a focus on enterprise customers. This is a highly technical product role where you'll work closely with customers building AI agents, embedded integrations, and enterprise platforms -- helping shape the future of how integrations are delivered inside Workday and for external developers.

You'll enjoy this role if you like solving technically challenging platform problems, think in terms of platforms rather than one-off features, are comfortable creating clarity for teams in ambiguous environments, and want to help build the integration platform powering the next generation of AI applications.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Defining and delivering the capabilities that allow the world's largest organizations to adopt the platform securely and at scale, with a focus on integrations and connectivity, multi-region deployment and data residency, hosting and deployment models, and governance, compliance, and security controls
  • Working directly with internal and external customers to understand their integration, security, and governance requirements, translating those insights into a clear and actionable product roadmap
  • Driving alignment on product direction and partnering with engineering to scope, prioritize, and phase work for delivery
  • Collaborating with go-to-market, support, and customer success teams to drive successful customer adoption and engagement
  • Defining success metrics and using data to continuously improve the product and inform future investments

About You

Basic Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in product management (or an equivalent technical role), including experience shipping developer-facing products such as APIs, infrastructure, integration platforms, or cloud services
  • Depth in two or more of the following enterprise software domains: security and identity; governance and compliance; multi-region deployment and data residency
  • Fluent with APIs, including working knowledge of OAuth and other authentication patterns, webhooks, and rate limits, and comfortable debugging integrations directly rather than relying solely on engineering
  • Experience shipping an MVP and then growing it through iterative releases in close partnership with engineering
  • Comfortable working directly with technical customers (including developers and platform teams) to turn requirements into a roadmap
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, agents, and MCP (hands-on experience prototyping agents preferred)
  • An AI power user: AI coding tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor are part of how you work daily, and you use them to prototype, test ideas, and build things yourself

Other Qualifications:
  • Deep domain knowledge of API platforms, integrations, developer tools, or infrastructure products, with the ability to stay current with the latest developments in the field and apply that specialized understanding to improve product direction, anticipate customer needs, and inform long-term planning
  • Sound decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate competing priorities, assess risk, and select the right course of action -- even with incomplete information -- balancing customer needs, technical feasibility, and business impact
  • Skilled in cross-team collaboration, with the ability to work effectively with members from engineering, design, go-to-market, and customer success, bringing together diverse perspectives, navigating different working styles, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and mutual respect to deliver shared outcomes
  • Forward-looking and able to connect product decisions to broader business goals, including identifying market opportunities, anticipating customer needs, and developing a product vision that creates long-term value for Workday and the evolving AI agent ecosystem
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external partners, including the ability to identify who needs to be involved, understand their needs and expectations, communicate product direction clearly, and facilitate engagement across customers, leadership, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and improved outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adapt your style to different audiences and collaborate effectively across teams

Our Approach to Flexible Work

With Flex Work, we're combining the best of both worlds: in-person time and remote. Our approach enables our teams to deepen connections, maintain a strong community, and do their best work. We know that flexibility can take shape in many ways, so rather than a number of required days in-office each week, we simply spend at least half (50%) of our time each quarter in the office or in the field with our customers, prospects, and partners (depending on role). This means you'll have the freedom to create a flexible schedule that caters to your business, team, and personal needs, while being intentional to make the most of time spent together. Those in our remote "home office" roles also have the opportunity to come together in our offices for important moments that matter.
