Iridium is seeking an ambitious and motivatedSeniorProduct Managertojoin ourdynamicGovernment Team!In this role, youll beresponsible fordriving the development of newproducts and services, working with our partners to create importantandexciting new solutionsin supportofGovernment customers.Youll be successful inthis role if youhave the relevant technical knowledge, can think on both tactical and strategic levels,are able to communicate and persuade at all levels of the organization and are adept in a matrix-management, virtual/in-person,ever-changingenvironment.
This position requires an active/currentTopSecret Security Clearance (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
What Youll Do:
- Work independently to perform product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycletoalignwithinitiatives and requirementsby gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, driving product vision internally within Iridium and externally with Iridium partners and Government customers, and working closely with various groups within Iridium to ensure revenue and customer satisifaciton goals are met
- Driveimplementation of products and services with partners and Government contracts to maximize Government user adoption by definingshort- and long-term initiatives tomeet customer requirements,improvingproduct time to market, reducingdevelopment costs,ensuring solution quality,improvingcustomer satisfaction, and makingworking with Iridium a competitive advantage
- Manageefforts to define and document simpleandefficient processes forcustomersto follow that require minimal questions/issuesfor the customerduring development
- Support creationandmodificationoflicense and otheragreementsfor partnersand Government customers
- Play a key role in supporting business capture activities within the Iridium government portfolio, including but not limited to providing input for white papers, proposals, and technical exchange meetings
- Train personnel and provide supportforpartnersimplementation of products, services, or operationsprojects during development, implementation,launchand post-launch
- Managethesupportofexisting products and services as they are adopted by partners and customers
- Work independently to facilitatethe enhancement of capabilities and partner maintenance activities including end-of-life parts, regulatory changes, issues in operation, etc.
- Facilitateresellers, manufacturers, developers, and service providers via creation of Iridium inside products and services to ensure the best possible outcomes and continuous improvements for their solutions
- Effectivelyleverageyouradvancedknowledge to make enhancements to policies and procedures, whilesupporting the sales team and providing direction to engineering and product development
What Youll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience inGovernment funded programs related tothe telecommunications industry
- 5+ years ofdirect product management experience in a technical industry
- Excellentwritten andcommunication skills, with the ability to convey products, deliverables, analyses, and/or issues clearly and confidently, and recognize and adapt to different communication techniques
- Excellent teamworking skillsin execution ofsmall and large tasks
- Ability to influence cross-function teams without formal authority
- Can easily build meaningful relationships with others, including senior leadership outside of your own department, and is comfortable providing constructive feedback to your team members and management
- Be able to analyze a situation or problem, generate effective solutions, and see those solutions through to completion
- Mustpossessthe creativity and resourcefulness needed to make reliable decisions anddeterminemethods on new assignments
- Can thrive in a dynamic environment by handling multiple tasks and managing shifting priorities

Things ThatWould beGreatif You Brought to the Table:
- Advanced degree in a technical discipline or business degree
- Experience with communications technology and/or positioning & timing technology for U.S. Government platforms and solutions including but not limited to soldier systems,vehicles,aircraft, unmannedsolutions, sensors, etc.
- Experience withdeliveringsoftware products inanagile environment
- Experience withthedevelopment,manufacturingand integration ofelectronics-basedsolutions
- Experience with IT (Information Technology) environments, cloud architecture, and best practices
- Experience with Windows and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
- Experience with Android and mobile devicetechnology
- Experience in creation of functional specifications, project schedules and building plans to deliver
- Comfortable dealing with the ambiguity of new products, scenarios, and incubation work
Well also need you to:
- Be able to travel up to30%

Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office setting and is largely sedentary with the majority of the position working with a computer. The role typically requires the use of basic office equipment such as a phone, video, computer, keyboard, mouse, and printer.
We believe in-person connection drives innovation, strengthens mentorship, and builds culture, while flexibility enables employees to do their best work. Under Iridiums Hybrid Work Policy, employees are expected to work at least three days per week (approximately 60%) in an Iridium office to support collaboration, relationship-building, and professional growth.
