Job Description

Role Overview:

This role is for a senior Product Manager who wants real ownership and real impact.

You will own a critical product area end-to-end-from problem discovery through delivery and adoption-with clear accountability for outcomes, not just execution. You'll operate as a decision-maker at the center of Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and customer-facing teams, shaping strategy while staying deeply connected to how the product is built and used.

The problems you'll work on are complex, operationally critical, and deeply embedded in customer workflows. Success requires strong judgment, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to translate messy, real-world processes into clear product direction. You'll be expected to challenge assumptions, prioritize based on evidence, and make hard tradeoffs when constraints collide.

This is not a role for someone who waits for direction or optimizes for consensus. It is a role for a PM who:
  • Wants clear ownership of a product area
  • Is energized by hard problems with meaningful business impact
  • Can balance long-term strategy with hands-on execution
  • Earns trust by making sound decisions and delivering results

What this role entails:
  • Own and evolve the multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap (6+ quarters) for assigned product areas, aligned to company objectives and market needs.
  • Facilitate prioritization with stakeholders using structured frameworks (e.g., value vs. effort, risk reduction, strategic alignment).
  • Lead discovery activities with customers, internal users, and domain experts to validate problems before solutions.
  • Translate validated needs into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria and business context to explain the business need and value.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks, dependencies, and scope changes, and drive resolution.
  • Lead release planning and readiness for assigned product areas, ensuring features are usable, valuable, and supportable.
  • Facilitate roadmap reviews, prioritization discussions, and decision forums with senior leaders.
  • Represent the product in customer conversations, translating feedback into actionable insights and decisions.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to estimate roadmap initiatives and inform quarterly and annual planning.
  • Align priorities with capacity constraints and support resource allocation discussions.
  • Coach and mentor business analysts on best practices in discovery, prioritization, and execution.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Product Management, with demonstrated ownership of complex products.
  • Deep experience in US Pharmaceutical Market Access, including Commercial Contracting, Pricing, Claims Adjudication, Rebates, or Chargebacks.
  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare and Life Sciences systems, data, and operational workflows.
  • Proven ability to lead within Agile environments (Scrum) and partner effectively with Engineering and QA.
  • Experience with system integration, revenue management, or business operations platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and communicate effectively with executive, business, and technical audiences.
  • Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and modern product lifecycle management tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
