Why is this role important?

At Loblaw Digital, we're building the future of work for thousands of colleagues across Canada. Whether that means building an AI sidekick for our in-store colleagues, optimizing our supply chain network, or empowering store support colleagues with best-in-class AI solutions - we're enabling the future of work across our business.

The Impact You'll Make:

As a Senior Product Manager - Enterprise AI, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to build innovative, scalable AI experiences for Loblaw colleagues across Canada. You will help to define and build the future of work at Loblaw by delivering the product vision and strategy for your portfolio and managing the product roadmap in collaboration with business leaders, design, and engineering partners.

We are looking for a candidate who has a proven ability to deliver a colleague-centric experience at Enterprise scale, showing proven success in ownership, bias for action, and thinking big. As a Sr. Product Manager, you will need to exhibit an ability to make the hard, high-judgment trade-offs, and work in a fast-paced, data-driven, and experimentation-driven environment. The right candidate will bring a good mix of experience with a product management skill set, domain knowledge, and a roll-up-your-sleeves, entrepreneurial attitude.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead the product roadmap for your area: Define strategy, priorities, and milestones in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, leveraging a deep understanding of our colleagues, vendors, technology, and business processes, to build alignment with internal business strategy and goals.
  • Translate colleague and business needs: Develop clear product requirements, user stories, specs, and metrics.
  • Oversee the delivery lifecycle: Collaborate with business leaders, engineering, design, and other product managers to deliver lean and scalable features and improvements, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business goals. Own the backlog including prioritization, refinement, writing user stories and generally keeping the development team unblocked and delivering value.
  • Own KPIs and metrics: Define, track, and report on metrics; iterate based on real business priorities and results.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation: Prioritize enhancements that improve our business and increase colleague satisfaction, balancing trade-offs of cost-effectiveness and value.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis: Use data insights and colleague feedback to guide product decisions.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships: Ensure visibility into roadmap decisions, evaluating rapidly changing priorities with business leaders.
  • Ensure compliance and sustainability considerations: Ensure all experiences meet or exceed regulatory requirements, including privacy, security, accessibility, and compliance.

Does This Sound Like You?
  • You take ownership and contribute to initiatives from idea to launch, including problem identification and prioritization, data gathering, problem solving, go-to-market planning, and driving results within an Agile delivery model.
  • You deeply understand AI and its potential to transform the future of work, and you are comfortable translating AI potential and capabilities into roadmaps and features that deliver real value
  • You easily build relationships and are excited to be a part of a cross-functional team working to solve complex problems and build products for thousands of colleagues.
  • You have a customer-first approach to building products, leveraging research and data paired with empathy to build experiences that create deep customer value.
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • You have demonstrated experience with testing and experimentation as part of product development.
  • You are comfortable communicating and presenting ideas to senior leaders across the business.

What You'll Bring
  • Experience: 5+ years of Product Management experience; some experience in eCommerce, merchandizing, sourcing, supply chain, or AI.
  • Strategic + execution capability: Ability to set long-term strategy while being hands-on to drive execution.
  • Data-driven mindset: Comfortable working with large data sets; using insights to guide decisions.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Proven ability to work across business, technology, analytics; strong stakeholder management.
  • Prioritization & problem solving: Strong at defining solutions in fast-paced environments. Ability to work independently and sift through ambiguity.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written & verbal communication; ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Empathy and Understanding: Ability to deeply understand colleague processes and pain points and work with engineering to design solutions to improve their workday
  • Agile / Product practices: Comfortable with agile methodologies; backlog grooming.

What Success Looks Like
  • Product roadmap is clearly and strategically defined, aligned with company priorities, and understood by stakeholders plus everyone contributing towards it.
  • Key metrics show meaningful improvements in business results and user engagement.
  • Stakeholder satisfaction: Internal teams feel collaboration is smooth; priorities are clear.
  • The user experience is seamless and engaging for our colleagues.

Nice-to-Have / Additional Assets
