Senior Product Manager Product Operating Model Transformation

Location: Hybrid - New York City
Employment: Full-Time, W-2 (Ember Group Consulting)

Help build the Product Operating Model for one of the world's leading enterprise technology companies

You'll be joining a multi-year enterprise transformation to redefine how Product Management operates across our client's global landscape.This is an opportunity to help architect and operationalize a modern Product Operating Model that will influence how more than 60 global products are envisioned, governed, prioritized, and delivered.Working directly alongside our client's Chief Product Officer and Head of AI, you'll help establish an enterprise Product Management Center of Excellence designed to elevate product maturity, standardize operating practices, and create greater alignment between product strategy, engineering, customer experience, and AI-enabled innovation.

The Opportunity

Our client is making a significant investment in modernizing its global Product organization through the creation of a Product Management Center of Excellence.

This transformation spans six enterprise workstreams focused on:
  • Product Operating Model
  • Product Governance
  • Product Lifecycle Management
  • Product Tooling & Standards
  • Product Excellence & Capability Development
  • AI-Enabled Product Delivery


You'll help define the frameworks, operating rhythms, governance models, and execution standards that Product teams across the enterprise will use for years to come.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with executive Product and Technology leadership to evolve the enterprise Product Operating Model.
  • Help establish a Product Management Center of Excellence supporting consistency across global Product teams.
  • Develop scalable governance, portfolio management, and execution frameworks.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, and Business stakeholders.
  • Build repeatable operating mechanisms that improve prioritization, planning, delivery, and product outcomes.
  • Partner with AI leadership to embed modern AI capabilities into product strategy and customer experience.
  • Create executive-level communications, roadmaps, and maturity frameworks.
  • Influence enterprise transformation across a complex global organization.


We're Looking For
  • 7+ years of Product Management, Product Operations, Product Strategy, or Enterprise Transformation experience.
  • Experience designing or evolving Product Operating Models.
  • Strong understanding of Product Management best practices at enterprise scale.
  • Experience working across complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms or large-scale software ecosystems is highly valued.
