Full Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager, Connectivity and Embedded Systems, you will define and drive the strategy, architecture direction, and execution of WHOOP's connectivity and embedded platform. Sitting at the intersection of firmware, mobile, and hardware, you will own the end-to-end member experience from device to app, ensuring it is reliable, scalable, and best-in-class.

You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that span multiple teams and product surfaces, shaping the long-term roadmap for how WHOOP devices connect, communicate, and perform. This role requires deep technical fluency, strong product judgment, and the ability to align teams around a clear vision while delivering high-quality execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for connectivity and embedded systems, ensuring a seamless, reliable, and scalable member experience..
  • Lead end-to-end ownership of the device-to-app experience, including pairing, data synchronization, embedded logic, and power management.
  • Drive technical direction in partnership with engineering leads across firmware, mobile, hardware, and backend, influencing architectural decisions that improve reliability, performance, and scalability.
  • Leverage key performance metrics to inform product direction and strategically prioritize opportunities that balance member impact with business goals.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements, documentation, and communication that align stakeholders and enable efficient execution.
  • Act as the domain expert and point of accountability for connectivity and embedded systems across the organization, proactively identifying risks and opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with deep experience in connected hardware, embedded systems, or platform-level products.
  • Strong understanding of Bluetooth/WiFi connectivity, mobile-device communication, and system-level tradeoffs across hardware and software.
  • Experience partnering closely with firmware and embedded engineering teams, with the ability to influence technical direction and architectural decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and drive long-term roadmaps from concept through execution.
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills, with experience defining metrics and using data to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a track record of aligning senior stakeholders and driving clarity across teams.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous, technically complex environments with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Passion for human performance, health technology, and building seamless, reliable product experiences.

This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $155,000 - $215,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.

In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.

These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate's specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role's requirements.
