About the Role

Twitch's Commerce organization drives over $1B+ in annual payouts to creators through innovative monetization products. As we continue to evolve how streamers earn and how communities engage, we're looking for a visionary Sr. Product Manager to own the roadmap for supporting streamers through interactive, fun, and mobile-native commerce products.

In this role, you will define and execute the strategy for helping streamers build deeper connections with their communities through interactive features and engaging monetization tools. You'll build solutions for products that help creators monetize (like Bits, Subscriptions, etc) while exploring new ways to help creators earn, engage their audiences, and grow their channels. By focusing on streamer success and community connection, you'll help shape how millions of viewers support their favorite streamers across all devices.

You can work from San Francisco, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Irvine, CA; or Seattle, WA.
You Will:
  • Lead the product vision and roadmap for high impact Twitch commerce capabilities, balancing near-term customer and business outcomes with longer-term product investments
  • Own the one-to-two year vision & drive prioritization for features that help streamers connect and monetize with viewers, including future innovations in community engagement and creator monetization
  • Own core streamer success metrics including interaction rates, creator earnings, viewer engagement, mobile conversion, and retention.
  • Continuously run experiments to test new features and improve outcomes for streamers and their communities
  • Drive multi-screen product strategy, ensuring streamers can engage and monetize their communities seamlessly across devices
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Research, and Community teams to deliver products that help streamers succeed and grow their channels
  • Champion streamer-first thinking, ensuring all products enhance creator earnings, deepen community bonds, and support channel growth
You Have:
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Product Manager
  • Experience with live streaming, gaming, or the broader creator economy
  • Experience with monetization products and understanding how to balance creator earnings with a consumer experience
  • Experience building consumer-facing products at scale, particularly mobile applications or creator/community tools
  • Deep understanding of creator ecosystems: their needs, community dynamics, and what helps them succeed on digital platforms
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience defining 1-2 year product strategies and executing against ambitious roadmaps
Bonus Points
  • Familiarity with virtual goods, digital currencies, or in-app purchase systems
  • Analytically self-serve: able to write basic SQL, use experimentation/analytics tools and AI tools for product analysis
  • Background in social features, chat systems, or real-time interactive experiences
  • Personal experience as a content creator or deep engagement with creator communities
Perks
  • Medical, Dental, Vision & Disability Insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Maternity & Parental Leave
  • Flexible PTO
  • Amazon Employee Discount

About Twitch

Twitch is an American video live streaming service that focuses on video game live streaming, including broadcasts of esports competitions, in addition to offering music broadcasts, creative content, and "in real life" streams. It is operated by Twitch Interactive, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. It was introduced in June 2011 as a spin-off of the general-interest streaming platform Justin.tv. Content on the site can be viewed either live or via video on demand. The popularity of Twitch eclipsed that of its general-interest counterpart. In October 2013, the website had 45 million unique viewers, and by February 2014, it was considered the fourth-largest source of peak Internet traffic in the United States. At the same time, Justin.tv's parent company was re-branded as Twitch Interactive to represent the shift in focus – Justin.tv was shut down in August 2014. That month, the service was acquired by Amazon for US$970 million, which later led to the introduction of synergies with the company's subscription service Amazon Prime. Twitch acquired Curse in 2016, an operator of online video gaming communities and introduced means to purchase games through links on streams along with a program allowing streamers to receive commissions on the sales of games that they play.
