Full Job Description
Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week in our Toronto office) for GTA residents; remote for other Canada-based candidates.

Team: Product

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who combines strong product craft with technical fluency. You will own key areas of our B2B SaaS platform, driving product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for customer-facing features. Alongside this, you will help design and adopt AI-powered tools that will take our product to the next level and increase the productivity of our product organization.

You thrive in ambiguity, partner closely with engineering and design, and understand how to leverage AI to work smarter. You're comfortable getting hands-on with data and tooling to move products forward.

What You'll Do
  • Own and drive the roadmap for key product areas within our B2B SaaS platform, with a focus on features that deliver measurable customer value.
  • Define product strategy and specifications in collaboration with engineering, design, and GTM teams.
  • Ship and iterate: Launch features, measure impact, and continuously improve based on customer feedback and usage data.
  • Conduct user research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to inform product decisions and prioritization.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to ensure successful product delivery and adoption.
  • Adopt and help shape internal AI-powered tools that automate and enhance product management workflows, including:
    • AI-Assisted Product Development: Leverage LLM-based tools to help generate product specifications, user stories, and documentation.
    • Automated Market & User Insights: Use and help refine systems that synthesize competitor updates, industry news, user feedback, and product usage data into actionable insights.
    • Intelligent Workflow Automation: Help connect internal systems (Notion, Slack, Figma, CRM) to reduce manual overhead.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a candidate who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in product management at B2B SaaS companies, with a track record of shipping customer-facing products.
  • Solid technical fluency. You can read code, understand system architecture, and work effectively with engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies, including building or using applications with LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG concepts.
  • Proven ability to ship products end-to-end, from strategy and discovery through launch and iteration.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, design, and business stakeholders.
  • Data fluency: Comfortable with SQL, analytics tools, and using data to drive product decisions.
  • Bias for action and entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to build in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code and/or Cursor, custom agents, or workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make).
  • Portfolio of AI projects or side projects demonstrating technical depth.
  • Experience contributing to internal tools or platform products that improved team productivity.

Why This is a Great Opportunity
  • Real impact: Ship customer-facing products while helping adopt the AI infrastructure that multiplies team effectiveness.
  • Small talented team: We believe that empowered and motivated small teams can move faster than bigger ones.
  • Cutting-edge AI: Work at the forefront of AI application to product management workflows.
  • Growth path: Direct impact on product delivery with a clear path to senior leadership.

Additional Information
  • Headcount: This is a new position at Bettermode.
  • Compensation Range: CA$150K-$170K annually.
  • AI Use: Large Language Models (LLM) might be used in the hiring process for this position to screen, assess or select job applicants.
