The Team

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Data Product Experience to join American Tower's IT organization's Data & Analytics team. The team focuses on ongoing improvements, lifecycle management, and strategic direction of enterprise data, analytics, dashboard, semantic layer, and AI-enabled product experiences. Day to day you will champion product strategy, prioritize initiatives, measure adoption and value realization, and ensure alignment with enterprise standards across business, Data Engineering, Applied AI, governance, and analytics teams. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead high-impact data product experiences, drive innovation, and support measurable business value, efficiency, trust, and user satisfaction at scale.

  • Manage the experience and lifecycle of priority enterprise data, analytics, dashboard, semantic layer, and AI-enabled product experiences from strategic planning through ongoing optimization.
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps for existing and emerging data product experiences, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and business user needs.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver product improvements that enhance usability, adoption, efficiency, trust, and business value; resolve complex challenges and drive consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Oversee product performance monitoring, gather user feedback, and conduct product discovery, user research, adoption measurement, and value realization analysis to inform prioritization.
  • Lead the creation and review of business cases, benefit tracking, and adoption measures for major product investments and enhancements.
  • Serve as the principal liaison for assigned product experiences, ensuring effective communication and alignment among business, engineering, analytics, governance, and operational stakeholders.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators, providing stakeholder transparency on product adoption, usage, quality, and progress against strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with Data Governance, Applied AI, Analytics, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure product initiatives meet enterprise standards and requirements.
  • Drive cross-product initiatives and continuous improvement programs, supporting strategic planning and execution.
  • Provide product guidance, documentation standards, and collaboration support to analysts and delivery partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Product Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Design, or a related field required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of product management, analytics enablement, digital product delivery, user experience, data analytics, or related experience required.
  • Experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, dashboard, artificial intelligence, or digital product experiences required.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define requirements, support adoption, and deliver business value required.
  • Experience with product discovery, user research, journey mapping, roadmap input, adoption measurement, or value realization preferred.
  • Deep expertise in product lifecycle management, product enhancement, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing enterprise data, analytics, dashboard, semantic layer, and AI-enabled product experiences.
  • Advanced technical fluency to evaluate capabilities, constraints, and trade-offs across data, analytics, AI, automation, and emerging technologies; ability to translate technical concepts into strategic business impacts.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment across complex, global organizations.
  • Experience driving collaboration between engineering, analytics, governance, IT, and business stakeholders to bring innovative data-enabled products to market.
  • Advanced problem-solving and prioritization skills; able to balance strategic initiatives with operational needs.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in business case development, adoption measurement, benefit tracking, and value realization for product decisions.
  • Expertise in Agile or hybrid product management practices as well as roadmap planning and reporting tools.
  • Ability to develop persona-based journeys, user stories, product requirements, and experience frameworks for digital or data products.
  • Ability to support training, communication, and capability-building programs for business users.
  • Experience working in global, matrixed organizations strongly preferred.
  • Fluency in English required; multilingual capabilities preferred.
  • Approximately 20% travel may be required in support of the position's responsibilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
