Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience developing or launching infrastructure products or technologies within networking, storage, compute hardware, databases, file systems, data analytics, cluster management, and other software infrastructure areas.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 5 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • 3 years of experience in software development or engineering.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

As a part of the AI2 organization, you will build the technical foundation behind Google's products as well as for Google Cloud's compute and AI/ML offerings. You will manage the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. Within AI2, we are CBS - Core ML, Compute infrastructure and Spatial Flex organization whose mission is to provide the most cutting-edge AI by building the world's best infrastructure, compute, data, and services for both first-party and third-party ecosystems and provides ML software tools, services, solutions and infrastructure to all the Google product areas, including Search, Ads, YouTube, Cloud, Maps, etc. As part of CBS, we are the C2AI team that owns the primary Compute infrastructure for the whole of Google. You will deliver unrivaled, frictionless compute infrastructure for Google services for the post-Moore's Law era.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what's possible. Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the multi-year roadmap for Compute infrastructure with a focus on security, leading the transformation driven by the unique needs AI brings to the industry.
  • Partner with engineering, platform, and cross-functional teams on highly impactful Google-wide Compute infrastructure initiative, translating complex security requirements into clear technical specifications, user stories, and delivery milestones.
  • Accelerate internal adoption of Compute infrastructure products, tools and frameworks, minimizing friction for engineering teams without sacrificing velocity, and drive awareness of Compute infrastructure and security products across all internal customers.
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders and internal product groups on various Compute infrastructure products.
