Full Job Description
We're looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the Agents Experience team in San Francisco. In this role, you will define how humans and AI agents work together inside Asana and make collaborating with agents feel natural, trustworthy, and indispensable. You will join our Product Management team, which drives Asana's product strategy and works cross-functionally across Engineering, Design, Experience Research, Data Science, Sales, Support, and Marketing to deliver impactful solutions that help teams see the larger purpose behind their work.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. If you're interviewing for this role, your recruiter will share more about the in-office requirements.
What you'll achieve
  • Own the product vision and prioritized roadmap for the core agent experience that will define the modern Human + Agent workplace.
  • Drive agent adoption by owning how teams discover, activate, and build lasting habits around AI agents, turning successful first experiences into durable, team-wide usage.
  • Partner with design and user research to refine the core interactions for how users create, direct, review, and give feedback to agents in the flow of work.
  • Lead discovery, pilots, and betas with enterprise customers to understand how organizations adopt agents, translating those insights into product strategy.
  • Shape the experiences that let humans confidently delegate work to agents, including transparency, control, and feedback loops that build trust at every step.
  • Define engagement metrics, instrument tracking, and iterate continuously on the product experience.
About you
  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally focused on AI products, collaboration software, or enterprise workflows.
  • Proven ability to craft intuitive, high-quality user experiences in close partnership with design and user research.
  • Customer-facing track record with enterprise customers, with a demonstrated capability to translate customer insights into sharp product decisions.
  • Deep familiarity with modern AI tools as a daily user, with informed opinions about human-agent collaboration and the judgment to build trustworthy, useful experiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and leadership.
  • Experience building products for specific verticals, or a background in product-led growth or 01 products, is a plus.

At Asana, we're committed to building teams that include a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, as this is critical to helping us achieve our mission. If you're interested in this role and don't meet every listed requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
What we'll offer

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $202,000 - $230,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
