Full Job Description
Piper Companies is looking for a Senior Product Manager with a background in Oncology to join a global pharmaceutical company located in Nutley, NJ through a hybrid, permanent position. The Sr. Product Manager (SPM), US Oncology, will play a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies for approved indications in thyroid and liver cancer. The role requires oversight of tactical implementation of marketing programs designed to maintain brand awareness and contribute to the achievement of business objectives.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of promotional materials, programs, and activities that support brand strategies, drive financial performance, and achieve business objectives; manage external agencies and consultants to ensure project success and accountability.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives by leveraging analytics, market research, and ROI assessments to generate insights, optimize performance, and inform future brand strategies.
  • Collaborate in the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review and approval process to ensure promotional programs comply with all applicable requirements and standards.
  • Monitor product performance, market dynamics, and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities and risks; develop and recommend strategic responses to strengthen brand positioning and growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with commercial and finance teams to align strategy, messaging, forecasting, demand planning (S&OP), and budget development, contributing to annual and long-range brand business plans.

Role Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years relevant professional experience with 3+ years of pharmaceutical marketing/sales experience.
  • Oncology, specialty or rare disease marketing experience preferred.
  • Understanding of PhRMA and Regulatory/Legal guidelines for healthcare provider interactions to ensure programs adhere to compliance guidelines
  • Experience working with and directing agencies and strategic vendors
  • Strategic and creative mindset. Keen understanding of customer insight generation and the ability to translate insights into strategies and tactics.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, executing, and measuring marketing programs, including innovative approaches to HCP engagement.

Compensation:
  • Salary Range: $148,200-$194,500/annually
