Full Job Description
About the role

Klarity is at an inflection point. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer - a designer first who owns the work end to end, from a messy problem to a shipped, polished experience. You'll own core, user-facing parts of Klarity's product end to end: turn messy signals into a clear point of view, design AI-native workflows that make complex enterprise tools feel as intuitive as the best consumer apps, and bring your designs to life in working, near-production prototypes - and, increasingly, into the product itself with engineering alongside you.

We care about your systems thinking, and your track record of shipping - not your degree.

Enterprise software has a reputation for being clunky and hard to trust. Our bet is the opposite: that the most powerful Enterprise AI product can also be the most intuitive. Design is how we win that bet.

How design works at Klarity

Design at Klarity is small but mighty, and hands-on. We work in tight loops with engineering and product - no throwing mocks over a wall. Designers own problems end to end and bring their own work to life: you'll prototype with AI tools or in code and help ship the real thing, not just a spec. We care deeply about craft - the states, the edge cases, and the small details that make a product feel finished - and we'd rather get something in front of users and iterate than polish in private. And because AI is the core of what we build, designing for it is the job here, not a side specialty.

What you'll do
  • Own core user-facing features - Define the visual language, interaction patterns, and flows for core features, and take them all the way to a real, shipped experience end-to-end - concept to launch.
  • Design for coherence - Make sure your features fit the surrounding flows, patterns, states, and edge cases in your product area, so the experience holds together instead of turning into disconnected screens.
  • Design and prototype with AI tools - Use AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Claude Design, Replit, etc.) to turn ideas into interactive, near-production prototypes, and increasingly bring front-end changes into the product with engineering's support.
  • Design trustworthy AI experiences - Design AI-native, increasingly agentic workflows that feel legible and trustworthy - surfacing the AI's confidence and uncertainty, designing for graceful error and recovery, and keeping a human in the loop for consequential actions.
  • Strengthen the design system in the AI era - Contribute reusable patterns, components, and tokens across design and code, built so both people and AI can produce consistent, accessible, on-brand UI.
  • Ground work in evidence - Talk to users and draw on both qualitative feedback (interviews, usability testing) and quantitative signals (product analytics, metrics) to find the real problem, set direction, and define and measure success.

Who you are
  • Exceptional design craft and a high bar - Visual hierarchy, interaction, motion, and accessibility are second nature, you have a clear point of view on what 'great' looks like, and you hold a high bar for quality. You bring ideas to life by prototyping with AI tools (or code), so you can explore and validate fast without waiting on a backlog.
  • AI-native in how you think - AI is already part of how you work and reason about problems, not a novelty you're trying out.
  • A systems thinker - You see how the pieces of a complex enterprise product fit together, not just the screen in front of you.
  • At home in ambiguity, high agency - You turn messy, under-defined problems into clear direction and act without waiting to be told.
  • You may be a good fit if you have - Several years designing complex software - ideally enterprise/B2B or developer tools - and a portfolio that shows craft and end-to-end ownership.

Bonus if you
  • Have shipped front-end code - React, TypeScript, or similar - even via side projects.
  • Have designed enterprise, B2B, or developer tools - you've made complex software feel simple.
  • Bring a point of view on AI UX - strong opinions, loosely held, about what makes AI feel trustworthy.
