Scope of RoleAs a Senior Product Designer / UX Designer, you will lead the end-to-end user experience for the ITRS observability platform, with a focus on delivering enterprise-grade solutions for large, multi-site clients who require a unified, "single pane of glass" experience. This includes analytics dashboards, real-time alerting, Open Telemetry-driven insights, agentic AI interactions, and consolidated operational views that span distributed environments.
This role offers a permanent, full time contract reporting to our Group Product Manager. You will work from our New York office or London HQ on a hybrid-work schedule, paying a salary range of $115,000 - $140,000 per annum (in NY).
As Senior Product Designer, you will:- Lead user research, usability testing, and workflow discovery across dashboards, alerting, diagnostics, and AI-driven insights.
- Design data-rich, scalable interfaces optimized for complex multi-environment deployments.
- Create visualizations and workflows that unify metrics, logs, traces, and topology into a consolidated enterprise view.
- Improve real-time alerting UX to support enterprise triage, cross-site incident correlation, and rapid response.
- Develop interaction models for agentic AI within an enterprise operations context.
- Deliver wireframes, prototypes, and final designs aligned with cross-product coherence and enterprise-grade expectations.
- Partner with PM and engineering to ensure quality implementation across distributed product squads.
- Enhance accessibility, clarity, and workflow efficiency across all observability initiatives.
Requirements- A strong SaaS portfolio with case studies that show the problem, process, final design, business impact, and refined UI craft.
- Deep experience in data analytics and visualisation. You lead users to insight with clear information design.
- 5+ years in product design or UX for SaaS or Fintech products. B2B or product-led experience is a bonus.
- Expert Figma skills and design-system experience. You know components, variants, and Auto Layout.
- Comfortable with user research. Interviews, task analysis, and usability testing.
- Excellent interaction and visual design. You sweat the details and ship interfaces that feel effortless.
- Clear communicator who explains decisions and handles trade-offs well.
- Someone applying for this role would benefit from experience in monitoring or observability, dashboards for expert users, and basic front-end or prototyping skills.
