Role: Senior Product Design Engineer

Location: 2550 N First Street Suite 250, San Jose, California 95131

Role Description: We are seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer with a Mechanical Engineering background and 10+ years of product development experience. This role is fully on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and focuses on advancing mechanical concepts for next-generation AR devices for industrial and frontline applications.

Role Requirements:
  • 8+ years of product development experience.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably PTC Creo, with strong top-down design capability.
  • Deep understanding of GD&T; experience with plastics, injection molding, sheet metal, and CNC processes.
  • Skilled in creating 2D drawings with proper tolerancing.
  • Experience using thermal and/or FEA simulation tools at component, module, or system level.
  • Familiarity with 3D printing.
  • Hands-on experience with design, fabrication, and assembly of prototype sub-systems.
  • Strong vendor management skills, particularly for mechanical and fixture-related deliverables.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.


Responsibilities:
  • Support proof-of-concepts and specification development.

  • Resolve day-to-day production issues with effective, hands-on solutions.
