Job Title: Senior Procurement Category Manager

Working Pattern: Hybrid (3 office days a week)

Working location: Indianapolis, IN

The Senior Procurement Manager (SPCM) role manages a team of procurement professionals to develop and execute global sourcing and category strategies that deliver cost savings, supplier performance improvements, and long-term business value. The Senior Procurement Category Manager will lead high-impact negotiations, oversee complex commercial activities, and ensure supply chain competitiveness, compliance, and resilience. You’ll influence senior stakeholders and leverage global talent to strengthen Rolls-Royce’s sourcing capability across multiple business areas.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company goals and deliver measurable value.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance, compliance, and long-term collaboration.

  • Guide and develop a team of strategic sourcing professionals to build capability and drive results.
  • Collaborate across business functions to align procurement strategy with organizational priorities.
  • Support ongoing process improvement and best-practice sharing across the global procurement network.

  • Associate degree with 10+ years of procurement experience, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of procurement experience, OR
  • Master’s degree with 6+ years of procurement experience, OR
  • JD/PhD with 3+ years of procurement experience, OR
  • 12+ years of experience in procurement in lieu of a degree
  • In order to be eligible for consideration, you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

  • Commercial, procurement and strategy experience
