Pratt & Whitney is looking for a Senior Principal Integrated Product Team Lead to support the Military Development Component Integrated Product Team (CIPT) within the Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles organization. In this critical role, you will coordinate across all disciplines, both within and beyond the Component Integrated Product Team. This role will involve leveraging the Integrated Product Deployment process to fulfill our Military customer commitments, achieve critical program milestones, and advance business objectives.

What You Will Do:
  • Oversee Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to ensure detailed designs and hardware delivery meet Engine Development Plan requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with IPTs to develop hardware plans, provide resource planning inputs, and address critical needs.
  • Analyze value streams, identify at-risk parts, and integrate data sources to develop and execute corrective actions.
  • Create presentation materials and report progress to senior leadership and engineering executives.
  • Lead, mentor, and execute within an Agile Framework, facilitating planning, demos, and retrospective reviews.
  • Support CAMs (Control Account Managers) to ensure monthly EVMS (Earned Value Management System) deliverables are executed on time and correctly.


Travel Requirement: Up to 10% (Domestic and International).

Department/Segment Overview:

Mechanical Systems, Externals, & Nacelles (MSEN): The Mechanical Systems, Externals, and Nacelles Engineering organization is responsible for the design, development, and in-service support of power transmission systems, bearing compartment and rotor support design and analysis, oil and thermal management systems, engine externals packaging and architecture, as well as nacelles for commercial and military engine models. Technical disciplines include Project Engineering, Mechanical Design, Structural Analysis, Product Definition, System Modeling, Mechanical Design analysis for bearings, gears, and seals, and fluid-thermal modeling of associated components and systems.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
