Full Job Description
As Senior Pricing Strategist you will play a critical role in shaping Spring Health's monetization strategy. You will shape how Spring Health translates product value into scalable, market-aligned pricing and packaging constructs. You will partner closely with Product, Revenue, Finance, Actuarial, and PMM to set and execute pricing and packaging strategies that drive improved commercial outcomes, achieve business goals, and deliver real customer value. Reporting to the Director of Pricing & Packaging, this high-impact individual contributor role focuses on forward-looking pricing strategy. Please note that this is a hybrid role based in New York City, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 days per week at our 60 Madison Avenue location. Candidates must be based in the NYC metro area or able to relocate independently within 90 days of their start date. Occasional travel will be required for team on-sites. What you'll do: • Develop and refine pricing and packaging frameworks for new and existing products, ensuring alignment with customer value, product roadmap evolution, and long-term margin objectives. • Conduct rigorous financial modeling and scenario analysis to inform pricing decisions across segments, products, and go-to-market motions. • Own competitive pricing and packaging intelligence, synthesizing market insights into clear strategic recommendations that strengthen differentiation and price positioning. • Establish and maintain ongoing pricing reporting and structured market research processes to inform monetization decisions. • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Product Marketing, Revenue, and Finance and to inform go-to-market planning and value narratives. • Create and enable clear internal guidance and external-facing pricing artifacts that reinforce value and differentiation and support positive commercial outcomes. What success looks like: • Monetization impact: Pricing and packaging strategies drive measurable improvements in win rates, average deal size, and margin performance. • Strategic rigor: Pricing recommendations are grounded in strong financial logic, competitive insight, and clear executive-ready narratives. • Competitive clarity: Regular benchmarking informs product positioning and pricing roadmap decisions. • Scalable frameworks: Pricing structures are durable, executable in-market, and aligned with long-term product and business strategy. What you'll bring: 4+ years of dedicated experience in pricing strategy and monetization, with management consulting experience strongly preferred.Strong pricing analytics foundation with advanced Excel/Sheets modeling capabilities and comfort working with financial and operational data.Experience collecting competitive benchmarking and conducting market research to inform pricing and packaging strategy. Strong communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into straightforward value driven narratives for Product, Finance, and Sales stakeholders. Comfort operating independently and cross-functionally to identify and solve key business problems. The target base salary range for this position is $165,000 - $202,400, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
