Full Job Description
The Senior Pricing Analyst will support the development and execution of CME Group's pricing strategy, with a focus on promoting derivatives market structure health and advancing key growth initiatives. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be responsible for conducting quantitative analysis, identifying market structure trends, evaluating client behavior, and assessing potential pricing actions, incentives, and market-making programs that drive CME Group's revenue growth.

Job Description
  • Partner with business leaders across derivatives markets and services to support the pricing, development, design, performance tracking, and management of growth incentives and market-making programs.
  • Design and execute detailed analysis of market and client activity to diagnose specific market issues, evaluate liquidity, and identify potential incentive programs to address business opportunities.
  • Support the rollout and administration of incentive and market-making programs reflecting broad industry shifts, product strategies, and evolving customer needs.
  • Measure and track key metrics to assess program performance, motivate participant behavior, and evaluate resulting impacts on overall market health.
  • Execute with extreme attention to detail to ensure high accuracy across complex pricing models, operational program setups, and performance tracking dashboards.
  • Demonstrate strong initiative-taking by proactively identifying data anomalies, proposing pricing process improvements, and unearthing prospective growth opportunities without waiting for explicit direction.
  • Coordinate the operational approval, setup, and performance management reporting for multiple derivatives markets, collaborating with stakeholders across Financials, Commodities, Technology, Clearing, Legal, Market Regulation, and Finance.
  • Build and maintain analytical tools to evaluate enterprise revenue and market health, synthesizing results into actionable recommendations for business leaders.
  • Execute complex analysis on large datasets using statistical and mathematical techniques to monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and program efficiency.
  • Track and summarize competitive industry developments, regulatory changes, technology shifts, and emerging execution models affecting CME Group markets.


Qualifications
  • B.A., B.S., or higher, preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in pricing, financial analysis, derivatives, trading, or competitive market analysis.
  • Proven track record of high attention to detail when analyzing complex datasets and building pricing models, combined with a strong history of initiative-taking in problem-solving.
  • Advanced quantitative and analytical skills. Experience manipulating large datasets using statistical tools (e.g., Python, R) and database queries (SQL) is highly desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex pricing and market analysis clearly for internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional relationships across finance, technology, clearing, and legal teams
