Job Description

Develop, enhance, and maintain custom solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and cloud-enabled SharePoint environments in support of high-priority government missions. Activities include designing, building, and sustaining low-code and pro-code applications, automation workflows, and data integrations that improve collaboration and business operations across hybrid (on-prem and cloud) infrastructures.

The developer will create and manage Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI dashboards, and SharePoint Online/On-Prem hybrid systems while ensuring seamless integration with Azure services, enterprise data sources, and legacy systems. Responsibilities include developing reusable components, modernizing legacy applications, ensuring compliance with federal security and governance standards, and providing sustainment support for existing Power Platform solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Pages) supporting mission-critical business processes.
  • Architect and optimize hybrid SharePoint environments (Online and On-Prem) to enable secure collaboration and scalable content management.
  • Develop custom connectors, APIs, and data gateways to integrate Power Platform with enterprise and legacy systems.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into efficient, secure, and compliant solutions.
  • Implement and maintain governance policies, data loss prevention (DLP) rules, and environment strategies across the Power Platform ecosystem.
  • Configure and maintain Azure components (Logic Apps, Functions, Azure SQL, and App Services) that support Power Platform applications and integrations.
  • Develop reusable templates, scripts, and documentation for solution deployment, maintenance, and end-user adoption.
  • Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimization of existing Power Platform and SharePoint applications.
  • Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity and data protection standards, following established DevSecOps and RMF processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, and application development to ensure seamless system performance and alignment with enterprise standards.


Required Skills

10+ years' experience with:

  • Microsoft Power Platform development (Power Apps Canvas/Model-Driven, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • SharePoint development and administration (Online and On-Prem)
  • Building and deploying solutions in hybrid cloud environments using Azure services
  • Designing custom business applications and automation workflows that improve efficiency and data transparency
  • Integration using REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, and SQL
  • Managing Power Platform environments, governance, and security controls
  • Agile and DevSecOps development practices
  • Producing technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides
