Role Overview:The Senior Platform Software Engineer will join a team responsible for building and operating critical system offerings. This role involves designing and developing essential tools and platform capabilities to support various systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop robust tools and platform capabilities for critical system offerings.
- Collaborate with the Platform team to ensure seamless integration and operation of developed solutions.
Required Skills:- Strong command of at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
- Proficiency in backend development.
- Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of distributed/parallel systems, information retrieval, networking, or systems/security software development.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, including tools like Jenkins or CodeDeploy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Specific skills include Python, DevOps Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Core Java, and JavaScript.
Qualifications:- 6-8 years of software development experience.
Preferred Skills:- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with databases and middleware such as Postgres, Kafka, and Redis.
- Experience with big data stacks, including data warehousing, MPP, Spark, and Flink.
- Understanding of micro-service architecture and service mesh.
- UI development experience.
