Senior Perfusionist @ Swedish Cherry Hill

Full time

1 FTE

Day shift

Under the direction of the Lead Perfusionist, Anesthesiologist, and/or Surgeon, the Staff Perfusionist executes extracorporeal support in the care of patients undergoing open heart surgery. This entails the safe and effective manipulation of sophisticated perfusion equipment used in maintaining adequate physiological parameters. The Perfusionist is required to assimilate all available information, make prompt clinical assessments and take the appropriate action. Such circumstances demand that the Perfusionist know the limitations and hazards of all techniques, components, and principles of extracorporeal support of open heart surgery.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree Science, Perfusion Technology.
  • National Certified Clinical Perfusionist - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion upon hire
  • 3 years Current open-heart clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of perfusion technology.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
