Full Job Description
Your Team's Impact:

America's Analytics team are seeking a Performance Specialist to focus on generating and converting sales pipeline for FactSet Performance Solutions across Buy Side & Wealth clients in the Americas region. The Performance Specialist is responsible for driving the assessment and qualification of Performance products and services to prospective buyers and will work alongside the existing Product Specialist Teams. This also includes the provision of sales support via demonstrations, pilots, proofs of concept, discussions and coordination of activities with FactSet's sales staff and leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the performance market, and how the competitive landscape affects the market.


  • Understand client types and user workflows with the goal of identifying areas of potential growth, and then execute on those opportunities through client engagement and commercial discussions, e.g. Wealth Management, Institutional Asset Management, etc.


  • Design tailored product demonstrations to highlight the value add of our performance solution to meet specific investment management needs.


  • Partner with multiple stakeholders such as generalist sales team, analytics specialists, sales engineering and consultants to run sales engagements including pricing of contracts & coordination with implementation, etc.


  • Share insights from client interactions to help shape product strategy and future
    development


  • Seek out additional ways to make an impact such as mentoring others, involvement in training, running campaigns and proactively engage with product strategy and development for new ideas, bugs as well as product improvements.


  • Report the current state of opportunities to senior management on a regular basis


  • Build & expand strong relationships across an international network of individuals at varying levels of the organization, including Product Development, Implementation, etc. as well as outside amongst clients and prospects.


What We're Looking For:

  • At least 10 years experience in a sales and/or client facing role with a strong record and good understanding of customer needs and building effective relationships.


  • Some experience of the Middle Office and the Performance workflow, with previous exposure to systems such as B-One, Eagle or StatPro a real plus.


  • Self-starter with a proven ability to excel in a collaborative team environment.


  • Interpersonal skills along with verbal and written communication skills required to build relationships and interface with key stakeholders at all levels of the business


  • Strong organizational and presentation skills.


  • Strong time management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.


  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills.


  • Willingness to learn new trends and aware of industry changes


  • Willingness to travel


  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related field; CFA qualifications desirable

Salary is just one component of our compensation package and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, and certifications.

The budgeted amount range for this position in New York City is $145,000 - $180,000
