The Senior Manager, Payroll leads Sunrise's payroll operations across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll processing. This role partners with HR, Finance and third-party vendors to align payroll strategy with business objectives while maintaining strong internal controls and an exceptional team member experience.
What You'll Do:
• Oversee end-to-end payroll processing using Workday Payroll
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, provincial tax and wage regulations
• Lead payroll audits, reconciliations and reporting to maintain data integrity
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation and system enhancements
• Manage payroll tax filings, deductions and multi-jurisdiction compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and strengthen internal controls
• Serve as escalation point for complex payroll matters
• Partner cross-functionally on M&A, policy updates and enterprise initiatives
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure SLA performance
• Provide leadership updates on regulatory and industry changes

Pay Range:124,000.00 - 155,000.00
