Who You Are

The Senior Partnerships Manager owns a book of referral relationships and converts them into founder introductions that become live raises on DealMaker. You'll spend most of your time in conversations - activating new partners, deepening existing relationships, and generating partner-referred SQLs every quarter. You'll also own the operational layer: agreements, payouts, CRM hygiene, and the AI-assisted workflows that keep the team running efficiently.

What You'll Do
  • Source, qualify, and activate net-new referral partners - financial advisors, founder peer groups, lawyers, CPAs, VCs/PE firms, e-commerce ecosystems, and capital markets intermediaries - from cold outreach through signed agreement.
  • Generate partner-referred leads and achieving quarterly quota.
  • Plan and execute at least one partner-led event per quarter - venue, invite list, follow-up sequencing, and pipeline capture.
  • Manage referral agreements and partner onboarding documentation from negotiation through execution.
  • Process quarterly partner commission payouts accurately and on time, coordinating with finance.
  • Build and maintain CRM workflows and AI-assisted outreach sequences that reduce manual admin and keep partner pipeline data clean.
  • Maintain an active partner rate across your book - tracking engagement, re-engaging lapsed partners, and flagging at-risk relationships before they go cold.
  • Represent DealMaker at industry events and convert event conversations into qualified relationships.
  • Report on partnership performance weekly - qualified leads sourced, partner activity rates, event pipeline, and payout accuracy - and flag blockers before they become misses.


What Skills You Need
  • 5+ years in partnerships, business development, or channel sales - fintech, capital markets, or SaaS preferred.
  • Proven track record generating pipeline through referral relationships, not just managing accounts.
  • HubSpot proficiency and comfort building or improving CRM workflows.
  • Self-starter with a bias toward outreach - you open conversations, you don't wait for them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; you represent DealMaker in high-stakes partner conversations.
  • Comfortable with AI-assisted workflows and continuously improving how the team operates.
  • Willingness to travel for events and partner visits (~20%).
