The team:

The Partnerships team works with businesses from industry-leading tech companies to freelancers to bring new users to Jobber or build product experiences for our mutual users. We are responsible for establishing and managing strategic relationships with our largest partners as well as managing smaller program partners.

The role:

So far in the partnership's journey, we've been able to partner with some truly incredible businesses due to our mutual passion of helping small businesses succeed. We're looking for a Senior Partner Manager, Channel Partnerships to help lead the strategy, recruitment, and acquisition of partners from a multitude of categories that also serve the Home Service space. Reporting to Director, Partnerships, the Senior Partner Manager, Channel Partnerships will be focused on finding best-in-class partners that can help both spread Jobber's message, while adding value to our existing customer base. This role will play a critical role in developing this hugely important team as a whole, with an emphasis on scalability and driving new revenue streams.

The Senior Partner Manager, Channel Partnerships will:
  • Conduct market research and identify target prospects with partners in key categories whose clients would benefit from the introduction and implementation of Jobber
  • Create and maintain an active pipeline to exceed targets
  • Drive connection with potential partners through phone, email, and linkedin outreach to generate new opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to your partners - their success is your success
  • Pitch and close partnerships with partners from various categories and scales - including franchise groups and multi-location partners- to enable partners to refer clients to Jobber successfully
  • Manage select strategic partnerships as the primary point of contact on a daily basis
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Jobber product offering as well as our partner offering and competitive advantages
  • Maintain partnership industry competitive detail to understand our partnership gaps
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders including product and marketing to drive channel growth
  • Provide feedback to product teams on partner feature requests and gaps that prevent Jobber from being the #1 referred Field Service Platform

To be successful, you should have:
  • Proven experience in a results-driven sales/partnership or business development role, including closing deals with franchise organizations or multi-location operators.
  • A dynamic approach to your partnership style. You'll be both partner and company-minded, developing strong relationships with external partners as well as our internal teams.
  • A strategic mindset. You set big, ambitious goals for yourself, and then build a rock-solid strategy and tactical plan to help you get there.
  • Next-level communication and relationship-building abilities. You're striving to be a partner advocate with active listening skills, able to understand partners' needs thoroughly.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You know how to multitask with the best of them while also staying focused on delivery and execution.
  • A passion for building from nothing, programs and teams
  • Strong written and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and communicate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate with effectively with a strong objection handling capabilities
  • Willing to occasionally travel to partner on-sites, conferences or other business needs

Compensation:

At Jobber, we believe that compensation should be transparent, fair, and reflective of your experience and growth. This role has a minimum Total Target Commission (TTC) of $145,494, a midpoint of $171,100, and a maximum salary of $196,824, designed to show the progression from learning the ropes to truly excelling. This TTC consists of your base salary, as well as an incentive at 20% of your base salary for achieving individual/team goals which is paid out quarterly.

We design our compensation to reflect each new hire's skills, experience against the complexity of the role, ensuring a fair and competitive salary. Our range is intentionally broad to support growth and long-term impact, with fully established hires typically starting around the midpoint. The higher end of the range is reserved for those who have demonstrated deep expertise and lasting contributions, while offers below the midpoint reflect strong potential with room to develop. This approach ensures that compensation aligns with both an individual's current capabilities and their opportunity for future growth.
