What You Will Be DoingWith a global network of production, supply chain and distribution partners, operational excellence is at the core of how Gelato delivers value to its customers. As a
Senior Operations Manager, you have a real chance to shape the operations network in your region from end to end: identifying the right production partners, bringing them onto GelatoConnect, and raising the bar on availability, speed, quality, and selection with every partner you add.
This is a role designed to stretch your leadership and analytical capabilities. You see the whole picture and you have the influence to improve it, working across the full partner lifecycle:
- Find the right partners: You identify production partners in your region who can help Gelato grow capacity, availability, speed, and selection, and you help shape where the network expands next.
- Bring them onto the platform: You help bring new partners onto GelatoConnect and into the Gelato network, working with our commercial teams so partners understand the value and get set up to fulfill for Gelato.
- Onboard and run regional operations: You get new partners live and operating to our standards, and you own ongoing performance across your partner base (availability, speed, quality, and selection expansion), diagnosing issues, driving improvements, and raising the bar with each partner you add.
- Shape the Procurement supplier ecosystem: You assess the supplier ecosystem and have a say in who should be on GelatoConnect Procurement, helping add the right suppliers so partners can tap into Gelato's buying power to reduce material costs and inventory overhead.
- Work with AI: You use the latest AI tools to scale your impact, automate manual work, and make faster, sharper decisions across everything you own. We expect you to build AI into how you operate, not as an experiment but as the way you get more done.
You will work closely with Product, Commercial, and supply chain teams to connect strategy to execution, using GelatoConnect as the backbone for how your region operates and scales. You will see the end-to-end picture, and you will have the influence to move it.

- You own outcomes end to end and get things done by influencing partners and cross-functional teams, without needing direct authority
- You are experienced with AI and enjoy using the latest tools to accomplish your projects and scale your impact
- You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced, high-growth environment
- You use data to find insight and drive decisions, and you are willing to roll up your sleeves to fix problems in a hands-on way
- You have experience in supply chain, logistics, retail, or eCommerce, ideally with marketplace models
- You have 5+ years of operations, commercial, and/or strategy experience in a high-growth startup or big tech environment
Location and TravelThis role is based in Atlanta, with a minimum of 3 days a week in the office. We expect around 25% travel, primarily domestic but potentially across North America, to spend time with partners and the network.
