Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Support the Life Sciences Sequencing Operations team by managing several biotech and pharma customer account scope activities by collecting key project metrics, organizing project performance, and providing proactive, detailed client-facing materials for the client touchpoints and other meetings.
  • Coordinate across internal stakeholders such as laboratory teams, report generation teams, order processing teams, finance, and customer success teams to ensure biopsy samples are moving appropriately through the lab, proactively flagging samples at risk or bottlenecks, and actioning swiftly to ensure projects meet budget and timeline.
  • Support escalation and resolution of critical project related issues, with the ability to be resourceful and decisive without oversight.
  • Coordinate with clinical trial sites, clinical research organizations, physicians, and other clients to anticipate and complete requests in regards to sample procurement and other operations.
  • Maintain accurate, high-quality collateral and ensure extremely organized documentation across all projects and portals.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to internal initiatives to enhance product offerings across Tempus teams and ensure the growing team is equipped with effective resources, guidelines, and SOPs.


Qualifications:

  • Prior work in industries (3+ years) related to Life Sciences, genomic sequencing, or oncology
  • 1+ year of experience in management consulting, customer success, account management, or client-facing roles.
  • Experience in a healthcare technology company is highly preferred.
  • Degree or relevant experience in cancer biology, molecular biology, immunology, bioengineering, computational biology, or related fields are highly preferred.
  • Advanced skills in Google suite, Slack, Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Salesforce.com and/or Looker experience is a plus


CHI: $65,000-$110,000

The expected salary range may vary for other locations. Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
