Overview

We are seeking multiple Senior Cloud Administrators to join our team in managing and advancing the Okta Identity Platform. This is a high-impact role supporting the security posture and operational excellence of the Federal Reserve Board's identity infrastructure. The selected candidates will work with modern identity technologies while supporting enterprise-impacting initiatives at one of the nation's most important financial institutions.  This work will be pefromed onsite in Washington, DC. 

Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and support the Okta Identity Platform.
  • Integrate applications with Okta IdP using SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
  • Configure and manage authorization servers, API access, and group access.
  • Build and maintain authentication and authorization policies.
  • Troubleshoot SSO issues, user access problems, and integration failures.
  • Implement MFA and adaptive authentication rules.
  • Document configurations, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on Okta administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SSO protocols, including SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC.
  • Experience with Okta Workflows.
  • Understanding of identity governance and security best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and respond to support requests.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a systematic problem-solving approach.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear technical documentation.
  • Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly regulated environment such as financial services, healthcare, or government.
  • Customer service orientation with a commitment to operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Okta Professional Certification.
  • Experience with REST APIs and scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms.

Salary: $145,000 - $152,000
