Senior Military and Requirements Analyst.Responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Military & Requirements Analyst with Long Range Kill Chain (LRKC) and with requirements, capability development, and/or Joint Capability Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process. The successful individual will support the Headquarters United States Space Force (HQ USSF) Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Strategy, Plans, Programs, and Requirements (S5/8). This office is responsible for carrying out and executing strategic planning, long-range resource allocation, and developing, directing, and conducting USSF programming activities. Additionally, the S5/8 delivers integrated Service space strategies, policies, and requirements to provide organized, trained, and equipped space forces for employment by Joint Force Commanders. As a Senior Military and Requirements Analyst, job duties require the candidate to be capable of applying principles, theories and concepts related to beyond line-of-sight (BLOS) long range fires and space architectures (i.e. sensing, MILSATCOM, C2, etc.) to enable the development and validation of requirements for USSF programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:- Interface and perform duties to support the development of requirements and capability development using the Joint Force Requirement Process (JFRP).
- Participate in the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC) process, to include attending Functional and Joint Capabilities Boards (FCB/JCB) at customer direction.
- Author, edit, review, and assess capability development products, and Service level requirements documents.
- Interface and perform Space Force strategy and plans-related analysis and support.
- Advise senior leadership in planning, developing, and coordinating classified activities with regards to LRKC capabilities.
- Study, assess, and recommend innovative technologies for further development/testing and potentially transiting to include rapid development, acquisition, and fielding of LRKC capabilities.
QualificationsMust Haves- Active TS/SCI at time of application and ability to obtain/maintain Special Access Program (SAP) eligibility
- Experience drafting and staffing capability requirement documents or other requirements and capability development background
- Experience in the operational practice of utilizing advanced military technology and intelligence to detect, track, and engage targets at extremely long distances with a high degree of precision and speed; basically, the ability to identify and strike a target from a far-off location with minimal delay. This could include experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Utilizing sophisticated sensors like satellites, drones, radars, and signals intelligence to detect and track potential targets at great distances
- Integrating data from multiple sensors to create a comprehensive picture of the target, enabling rapid decision-making
- Utilizing AI and machine learning algorithms to quickly identify and verify targets amidst clutter
- Seamless communication between sensors, decision-makers, and weapon systems across diverse platforms to rapidly coordinate attacks
- Employing precision-guided missiles, hypersonic weapons, or other weapons capable of engaging targets at extended ranges
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Skilled at applying critical thinking in complex and dynamic organizational environments
- Independent worker capable of understanding complex technical issues and producing recommendations for a wider audience
Desired- STEM degree
- Level A and Level B Requirements Management Certification from Defense Acquisition University
- Understanding of Space systems
- Expertise in Intelligence Community
- Demonstrated skills building system models in Cameo and/or other UML/SysML based tool suites with ability to capture in DoDAF and/or UAF compliant view sets of program requirements
