In this role you will support the creation and delivery of high-quality media content by managing and maintaining all technical aspects of production, ensuring optimal equipment performance and resolving technical issues. This role enables the production team to focus on creative and editorial tasks, ensuring that the final product meets professional standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: This role will primarily direct and technical direct live webcasts and production shoots utilizing control room equipment such as video switchers (Ross Carbonite/Acuity), video playback systems (Ross Tria/Xpression) and broadcast graphics operation (Ross Xpression) around 75% of the time. The other 25% may include, but are not limited to, the following:
•Equipment Setup and Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment, including studio and field cameras, audio mixers, lighting boards, microphones, and production accessories such as robotic cameras, dollies, and jibs, to ensure optimal performance during production.
•Technical Support and Troubleshooting: Provide technical support during production, identifying and swiftly resolving any technical issues to minimize downtime and disruptions. Maintain advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and mitigate equipment failures.
•Quality Control: Monitor and adjust equipment settings to maintain high-quality audio and visual outputs, ensuring seamless run-of-show execution and that the final product meets professional standards.
•Collaboration and Project Management: Work closely with directors, producers, editors, and other production staff to understand their technical needs and provide solutions that enhance overall production quality. Independently manage multiple large-scale projects involving both internal and external talent.
•Additional Responsibilities May Include: Scheduling shoots, managing production crews, tracking crew budgets, conducting regular maintenance checks, performing minor repairs, managing the inventory of production equipment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, and staying updated with the latest media production technologies and techniques.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, resolving difficult and complex issues using broad professional concepts. Guides others, applying advanced principles and company practices. Leads moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Operates autonomously with frequent senior leadership interaction.
Education/Experience: Bachelor6s degree (BS/BA) desired. 3+ years of related video production experience.

Our Senior Media Technician earns between$87,200 - $130,800. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at ATT offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
