Senior Media Planner II, Strategy & Planning role, you'll be responsible for the design and execution of the media plan of one of our major technology clients. The team consists of planners and buyers that manage all aspects of execution, from cross-functional integration during planning to partnering with analytics during wrap reporting.
Our ideal candidate has spent time executing and is ready to use those skills to develop media plans and help junior team members (Buyers) on their media journey.
At this time, Monks offers a hybrid in-office / remote policy dependent on the candidate's proximity to an office, team, and other business needs. General health and safety considerations are under constant review, with individual cases addressed as they arise.
What you'll do: - Develop and execute omnichannel marketing strategies across Google Ads, Paid Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), and Programmatic channels.
- Partner with stakeholders to dive deep into product marketing strategy, make recommendations, and ensure alignment across channels.
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing optimizers on forecasting, campaign launch timing, sizing, and performance optimization.
- Assist with campaign execution, landing page creation, and budget management, ensuring delivery against forecasts and objectives.
- Track, share, and manage benchmarks and performance standards across the team, empowering marketers with data and tools for success.
- Analyze data, surface challenges, and collaborate with optimizers to resolve roadblocks.
- Maintain deep expertise in Google Ads, Programmatic platforms (DV360 preferred), Paid Social platforms, finance, legal, and brand safety policies.
- Create, implement, and maintain reporting scripts and dashboards across channels.
- Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines efficiently.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication with all stakeholders.
- Work effectively both independently and within a fast-paced, collaborative team.
Who we're looking for: - 4-6+ years of marketing experience, ideally in performance marketing with experience across Google Ads, Paid Social Media, and Programmatic platforms.
- BA/BS degree (Business, Finance, Marketing, or equivalent) preferred.
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets user (functions like vlookup, pivot tables, formulas, sheet optimizations) for forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
- Strong data analytics and operations skills, with a passion for data-driven decision making.
- Organizational skills and expertise in managing complex marketing campaign logistics.
- Basic understanding of website creation and landing page optimization. Experience with A/B Testing and reporting across channels.
- Exceptional presentation skills, comfortable speaking about and presenting data to clients.
- Strong cross-functional management skills, comfortable collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Relationship builder with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and industry trends.
- Superior project management skills and the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to ambiguity. Fluency in English is a must.
Plus: - Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance and analytical success.
- Knowledge of Ad Servers, campaign optimization tools, and online tracking technologies.
- Experience with Google Marketing Platform.

If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate's sex or any other protected status.

$85,000-$105,000 CAD
